Hip-hop on the Block is an event intended to utilize the power of dance to empower youth and build community in order to disrupt the violence that has been plaguing Chicago. Check out this joyous video recap of the 2018 Everybody Dance Now! Holiday Performance. Our Santa Barbara community came together on Friday, December 14th at the Santa Barbara County Education Office Auditorium for a night filled with dance and holiday spirit.

Everybody Dance Now! held its 3rd Annual Day of Movement in Santa Barbara on April 22nd at the Isla Vista Elementary School, inspiring our community's families through an all-styles dance battle, a free family masterclass, and our EDN! Spring Recital with incredible guest artists.

EDN! held a groundbreaking hip hop event on April 25th at the Westside Boys and Girls Club with a mission of bringing the dance community in Santa Barbara together. EDN! offered a breaking masterclass with Kid David, a hip hop masterclass with Jackie Lopez, a crew showcase, and a 2 vs. 2 all styles battle!

It was great to once again be part of the New York Edge 2019 Art Day & Spring Showcase Audition. Our teachers were invited to teach workshops with over 250 students from schools throughout New York City. Students get to learn and practice dances born within their culture and communities.

2018 Dance As A Means was a youth dance summit that was held at the Harold Washington Cultural Center, on the southside of Chicago, on Saturday, June 16th, 2018, with the Collaborative Goal being: To give youth an opportunity to express the state of inner city communities and to give youth a creative outlet.

Everybody Dance Now!'s 4th Annual Day of Movement Saturday was held on June 2nd from 12PM until 5PM at the Isla Vista Elementary School. Guest artists: DJ Megatone, MC JediNice and MC Omar Khan, Chrybaby, Leandre (On Point), and Jesus. The day was filled with youth-driven creativity, and commUNITY!

Video Credit: Jon Paulo Bautista Everybody Dance Now! held its 2nd Annual Day of Movement in Santa Barbara on April 23rd at the Parks and Recreation Center on Carrillo. From 12PM until 2PM, EDN! offered free and low cost hip hop dance classes to the public.

Burton Flagship store in NY sponsored an evening of creative expression and youth empowerment. Everybody Dance Now! , Thrive Collective and The Chill Foundation hosted live urban dance performances and a participatory mural art project. Videography: Vladimir Goroshnikov
