Imani Arrington was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and, at the age of thirteen, began her dance training at Mark Morris Dance Center. Imani continued training at Brooklyn School for Music and Theatre, where she graduated in 2014. She continued her training majoring in dance at Queensborough Community College. In her time there, she continued her training with Emily Berry, Aviva Geismar and Marjani Forte-Saunders and participated in the National American College Dance Association Convention which led her to a performance opportunity at the Kennedy Center in 2016. Imani is currently performing with a contemporary based company, NonaLee Dance Theatre and a street dance organization called Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival.
Daniel "Chrybaby" Cozie
From Harlem, NY, Chrybaby Cozie is one of the founding fathers of the Hip Hop freestyle genre called Lite Feet.
Being raised in Harlem in the late 80’s was a source of great influence for Chrybaby, as it was his foundation for dance, music and the source of inspiration to uplift the youth and communities around him today.
Chrybaby has been teaching Lite Feet and Hip Hop, for more than 10 years and is currently teaching at the Exile Professional Gym (EXPG) and Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Chrybaby has been cultivating and keeping the Lite Feet culture alive for ten years with the NYC youth. And through the culture, he has created a Hip Hop dance organization called ‘The Bwreckfast Club’ E.A.T (Earning All Together) in 2005. ‘The Bwreckfast Club’ is a platform for youth, to build upon their passion, talent and be given an opportunity to promote themselves in a positive light.
Always representing The South Bronx, TweetBoogie is devoted to the street styles of hip-hop.
As she continues to travel all over the world teaching in different countries such as Japan,Taiwan, China, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, The Philippines,Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Australia and South Africa to name a few. Assisting choreography on shows like "So You Think You Can Dance Canada" with Luther Brown, her passion has lead her to work with top artists like Jay-Z, Fergie, Mya, Shareefa, LL Cool J, Mary J Blige, Ryan Leslie, Shakira, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj. She has done NIKE commercials in europe and for iPod as well.Tweetie was also the host of MTV's "Dances From The Hood" On Demand. Some of her biggest clients were teaching Gail and Oprah some of the latest hip-hop moves as a guest choreographer on The OPRAH Show. As an Associate Producer of the Ladies of Hip Hop Festival , TweetBoogie believes in helping Ladies of all ages and sizes across the world to come together and celebrate thru music and dance one Ladie at a time. You can find TweetBoogie also currently teaching at The Ailey Extention, Peri Dance Center, Broadway Dance Center and EXPG NY Studios.
