Evelyn Hernandez    Dance has been a lifelong passion for Evelyn, as she has been dancing since before she could even walk! Evelyn has been training in hip hop for 15 years now, dancing in studios and most recently with a hip hop crew at UCSB, Urban Dance Company. Evelyn continues to learn different styles and techniques. Outside of training, Evelyn enjoys being able to teach the next generation of dancers through EDN. She feels this work is extremely rewarding.

She has worked and trained with prominent LA and NYC choreographers for today's leading music artists such as Luam, Rich and Tone, and Teresa Espinosa. Tinelle has taught dance at many well-known professional studios including IDA Hollywood and L.Y.T.E. Dance Studio. As Tinelle continues to grow by pushing herself to learn, grow and acquire new vocabulary, she is excited to share her passion through teaching EDN students in Santa Barbara.

Kelli began her professional work in New York City and Los Angeles where she worked with choreographers such as Brian Friedman, Hi Hat, Kenny Ortega, Fatima Robinson, and Travis Payne (Michael Jackson’s former choreographer). She danced on shows such as X-Factor, Dancing with the Stars, America’s Got Talent, and Glee and modeled for brands such as Coca-Cola and Reebok. Kelli continues her passions of teaching, choreographing for local companies, building the local street dance community, and advocating for equity in arts education.

  Jeff Schultz    Jeff's journey began in Santa Barbara, California. He was on the stage from a young age of 10 in a theatrical setting and working backstage. His training in Dance, Aerial (silks, lyra, hammock, trapeze, corde et lisse, and specialty apparatus), and Acrobatics (parkour, freerunning, tricking, gymnastics, hand balancing, and partner-acro) didn't start until the past four years of his life. He has worked and performed with Selah Dance Collective, Elevated dreams, The Dancing Fire, IMMABreathe and various other companies from LA to New York performing at venues like Granada, Center Stage, Trascallion , Lucidity, The Avalon private clubs and commercials. Jeff's uses his movement to try and inspire people to grow, connect, experience new ideas/thoughts/feelings, bringing relatable performance, a sense of culture, and affordable movement education to all people.

  Nina Masjedi   Nina Masjedi has been teaching dance classes for 9 years. She has a passion for working with children and watching them grow. Her favorite styles of dance include hip hop, bellydancing, and heels! She currently dances on UCSB’s Urban Dance Company.

  Felicia "Kruella" Renee     Felicia Renee started dancing at the age of 4 at a local dance studio practicing Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. By the age of 8 she joined a Polynesian Dance Production, Tina’s Ports of Paradise where she began stage performance and competition. Hip-Hop competition started with Emanon Dance Crew at age 13, then graduated to join GRV, and now currently Soul Fresh Fam by Ricky Cole.

  Jonathan Yan    Jonathan Yan (Gene) has been dancing since the Summer of 2011 and specializes in Breaking. He studies Economics and Dance at UCSB, where he is also a part of the Breaking Club, UCSBreakin' and the hip hop dance crew on campus, Urban Dance Company. Jonathan's goal for dance while in college is to further advance the Santa Barbara Dance Scene in any way that he can, and to overall become the best dancer he can be. This is his third year with EDN!SB and he is looking forward to another great year dancing with the EDN youth and teaching team.

After coming to college, Shivani joined and became captain of a competitive Bhangra team for 2 years where she traveled around the state to perform and compete. This year she will be starting her own Bollywood fusion team! Shivani hopes to continue to spread her passion for dancing and her culture with the community.
